The company Hirjak-Hardwood operates on the wood market since 2002.The name of the company makes it obvious, that the company is oriented on processing of hardwood. Within our production, we offer a wide range of various wooden products and elements mainly made of ash, beech, oak, hornbeam, lime and maple. Sustainable investments into new technologies, with the focus on high quality, enable us to dispatch our products on markets all over the Europe, e. g. to Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Scandinavia or Switzerland.
15 May 2000 – Emil Hirjak starts as an entrepreneur in the field of trade and marketing within the wood industry.
9 May 2002 – He establishes Hirjak-Hardwood, s.r.o. company which directly fastens on to his previous activity. The company provides services in the fields of marketing for wood companies in Slovakia, supports them technically and technologically and provides them with the professional advisory services. This activity is mainly connected with the management of wood business and investment projects.
2002-2003 – The company managed to gain resources from the Danish IØ Fund for the promotion of business development in Central and East-Europe, placing them in several factories.
2004 – The company takes part in projects aimed at opening up new productions in several wood-processing companies in Slovakia and, in addition, wins a portfolio in 2 of the major areas of the wood-processing industry – tools and furniture.
2011 – After several successful projects, the company decides to invest in its own estates/lands and factory halls.
2013 – The company took part in the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Economic Growth” under the support of the European Union. In 2015 the company extends its production with new technologies thanks to the successful drawing from the euro funds.
Our target for the future is the extension of the production capacity, keeping the high product quality and continuous improvement of our position at the market.
